With the start of the 2020 Major League Baseball season delayed at least until May 10, fans have sought out other means to fill the void.

Last week, SportsNet LA celebrated Clayton Kershaw’s 32nd birthday by airing six of his vintage performances from three separate seasons. MLB.TV has additionally made all games from the 2018 and 2019 regular seasons and postseasons available to stream for free.

The MLB Vault channel on YouTube has an additional collection of games available, with more of focus on classic matchups.

Retailer Baseballism has also joined in on the fun by tapping players and reporters for a ‘Take me out to the ball game’ video. The Los Angeles Dodgers were represented by Justin Turner and SportsNet LA reporter Alanna Rizzo.

Turner previously recorded messages for Dodgers fans amid the uncertainty and concern stemming from the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. He also partnered with Slice to assist The Dream Center in their daily service of providing meals for those in need.

Rizzo founded and launched Guidry’s Guardian Foundation last July and is continuing with her efforts to find homes for dogs as shelters face uncertainty because of the global crisis.

Both Turner and Rizzo are also fans of Baseballism, which has dozens of locations throughout the United States. Their flagship store in Scottsdale, Ariz., served as the backdrop for the first ever live show of “The Big Swing” podcast.

Ross Stripling and co-host Cooper Surles invited fans to the location for a night of interviews with Rizzo and Kyle Farmer, a question and answer session, and photo opportunities.
