“Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston narrated a promotional video to highlight new MLB rules and Opening Day of the 2023 season. MLB created the ad with production from Wheelhouse and directed by Jonathan Kimmel.
Cranston is showing watching memorable highlights while delivering dialogue that emphasizes MLB’s belief the sport is in better position now with new rules in effect.
“This game is for you, the fan,” Cranston begins. “You want the action to flow.
“This is the game we all want to see. Get the ball, pitch the ball. Keep the defense on their toes. Field like Ozzie. Run like Rickey. So get that shift out of here. Free up the players to put on a show.

“It’s the best game in the world,” Cranston said. “Now, it’s even better.”
MLB is touting the ballyhooed changes as: “Three New Rules. More Great Action.”
Cranston’s ad, along with additional promotional videos that feature players, will appear on MLB Network, MLB.com, MLB.TV, Fox, FS1, ESPN, TBS and Apple, among other digital media sites.
