The Los Angeles Dodgers could not find their offense as they lost, 4-0, to the Los Angeles Angels at Camelback Ranch. Their record in Cactus League play now stands at 9-3-1.

Shohei Ohtani was in the lineup for the first time against his former club, but he finished his day going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts. The Dodgers’ starting lineup only had five hits with Jason Heyward accounting for two of them and Chris Okey with one.

Max Muncy was also hit by a pitch for the third time in Cactus League games, but this time it was on his knee. He immediately came out of the game, but it was likely his final plate appearance of the night regardless of the result.

Bobby Miller made the start and pitched three scoreless innings while striking out one and walking one. He was followed by Daniel Hudson, who allowed one run on two hits with one walk and one strikeout as he continues to shake off rust this spring.

Nabil Crismatt gave up two runs without recording an out to extend the Angels lead to three runs. In the seventh inning, Justin Wilson surrendered another run, but still managed to strike out the side.

Both Evan Phillips and Blake Treinen worked a scoreless inning, continuing their strong starts to spring, while Matt Gage and J.P. Feyereisen eached worked a clean frame as well.

It was an important bounce back for Feyereisen, who struggled in his first outing of Spring Training, as he tries to work his way onto the Opening Day roster.

What’s next for the Dodgers in Spring Training?

The Dodgers are once again at Camelback Ranch on Wednesday when they face the Chicago White Sox at 12:05 p.m. PT.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto is scheduled to make his second Cactus League start, and he’s set to face off against Michael Kopech. Shohei Ohtani is also scheduled to be in the lineup once again tomorrow, marking his first back-to-back games played with the Dodgers.
