The Seattle Mariners unveiled the 2023 MLB All-Star Game logo in front of a sold-out crowd at T-Mobile Park on Friday night.

“This logo is inspired by our fans, our community and our region,” Mariners president of baseball operations Catie Griggs said in a statement. “Now that we’ve unveiled the logo, the countdown is officially on!

“We can’t wait to host the next All-Star game in T-Mobile Park and show all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.”

Design elements in the 2023 All-Star Game logo include Northwest Green woven throughout, compass star pointing Northwest, and the shape of the logo representing the Pacific Northwest five-state region.

The Space Needle was placed within the trees and Mount Rainier to illustrate how closely connected the city of Seattle and mountains are.

The Mariners are hosting a Midsummer Classic for the third time in franchise history. They previously staged All-Star Games in 1979 (Kingdome) and 2001 (Safeco Field). The National League won the first exhibition, while the American League was victorious in the last meeting in Seattle.

With winning the All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium earlier this week, the AL extended their streak to nine consecutive victories.

Per tradition, the 93rd Midsummer Classic will be accompanied by the Futures Game and Home Run Derby, among other festivities for All-Star Week.

Mariners season ticket members will receive priority access to purchase 2023 All-Star Week ticket strips.

MLB All-Star Game records

With the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting for the first time since 1980, the three days of 2022 All-Star events at Dodger Stadium generated 152,182 in attendance, which made it the most-attended series since the New York Yankees staged festivities at Yankee Stadium in 2008.

MLB additionally announced merchandise sales at Dodger Stadium set an All-Star record.
