MLB The Show 18 Player Ratings: Dodgers’ Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen Earn Top Overalls At Respective Positions

In 2017, Clayton Kershaw was once again at the top of his game despite battling another herniated disc in his back. He posted a 2.31 ERA and 3.07 FIP over 175 innings, and accumulated 4.6 WAR, per FanGraphs’ calculations.

MLB The Show 18’s top five starting pitchers included Kershaw (92), Max Scherzer (90), Corey Kluber (89), Chris Sale (89) and Stephen Strasburg (87).

A pair of New York Mets right-handers in Noah Syndergaard and Jacob deGrom were rated 86 and 85, respectively, while Madison Bumgarner (85), Carlos Carrasco (85) and Justin Verlander (84) rounded out the top 10.
