The 2016 Major League Baseball Draft begins Thursday, June 9 at 4:00 p.m. PT and will be aired on the MLB Network. The MLB draft will continue June 10 at 9:30 a.m. PT (also televised on MLB Network) and conclude June 11, beginning at 9:00 a.m. PT.

All three days of the draft can be streamed live on MLB.com. The Philadelphia Phillies have the first overall pick in this year’s draft. Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Colorado Rockies and Milwaukee Brewers round out the top five.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have three picks within the first 36 selections, with their first coming at No. 20 overall. Their next pick on the first day of the draft is No. 32 in compensation for Zack Greinke rejecting the qualifying offer and signing with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Dodgers’ final pick on Thursday is No. 35 (compensation for not signing 2015 No. 35 overall pick Kyle Funkhouser, who returned to Louisville).

Los Angeles has a total bonus pool of $9,336,500 this year, which is the ninth-highest total among the 30 teams. It’s also the largest bonus pool the Dodgers have had under the current system.

This marks the second draft under Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, scouting director Billy Gasparino and an overhauled front office and scouting department. The Dodgers went heavy on pitchers in 2015, and have been linked to several prep and collegiate arms this year.
