The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) launched 50/50 in-game raffle program for Thursday’s series finale against the New York Mets. The in-game charitable raffle will be held during every home game for the remainder of the 2016 season.
Tickets for each night’s 50/50 raffle are sold by the LADF staff throughout Dodger Stadium. Raffle tickets will be sold for cash only at three price points — three for $5.00, 10 for $10.00 and 40 for $20.00.
Fans can visit kiosks located in the left field plaza, loge sections 103 and 105, and reserve level section 10. Raffle-ticket sellers will also roam throughout Dodger Stadium concourses and seating areas in top deck, reserve, club, loge, field and pavilion sections.
The winning raffle number will be selected during the seventh inning of each game. The winning raffle number will be displayed in-stadium during the eighth inning. Half of each night’s raffle proceeds will directly benefit the Dodgers’ foundation and support its programs and giving to youth organizations throughout Los Angeles.
LADF currently raises funds through donations, corporate partnerships, in-game efforts, retail and fundraisers including its annual Blue Diamond Gala, 5K/10K Run and Kids Fun Run and its Summer and Winter Youth Camps.
In February, LADF announced it will invest $25,000 this year in Teach For America-Los Angeles. In addition, the foundation is providing a third consecutive year of Dodgers RBI, with locations in Inglewood and East Los Angeles, among other cities.
