How To Stream Dodgers Games On iHeartRadio App

AM 570, the flagship station of the Los Angeles Dodgers, announced fans can now stream every play of every game live using the iHeartRadio app, making it possible to tune in from one’s desktop, smartphone or smart speaker.

The only requirements are downloading the free app and searching for “AM 570 L.A. Sports,” which will give fans the option to follow the station.

Rick Monday and Tim Neverett comprise the Dodgers’ English-language broadcast team for the second consecutive year, while Hall-of-Famer Jaime Jarrín and his son, Jorge, form the Spanish-language broadcast team.

Due to restrictions brought on by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the aforementioned names will exclusively call home and away games from Dodger Stadium this season.

The same applies to the SportsNet LA crew, which includes play-by-play man Joe Davis and Orel Hershiser in the booth, and Alanna Rizzo serving as field reporter. Pepe Yñiguez and Fernando Valenzuela are responsible for calling games as part of the Spanish-language broadcast team.

Moreover, John Hartung has continued to anchor coverage from SportsNet LA’s studio, alongside analysts Nomar Garciaparra, Jerry Hairston Jr. and Ned Colletti.

Charley Steiner calling Dodgers games from home

While Monday and Neverett handle the majority of Dodgers radio broadcasts on AM 570, Charley Steiner additionally will call a select amount of games this season.

However, he will exclusively do so from home as a result of the ongoing pandemic. Steiner made the decision after consulting with his doctor, who deemed the 71-year-old high risk for severe illness. The Dodgers built a studio inside Steiner’s home so he could continue working.

The 2020 campaign marks Steiner’s 16th with the Dodgers. He signed an extension two years ago that keeps him with the organization through the 2021 season.

SportsNet LA on DirecTV

Back in April, Spectrum Networks reached deal with AT&T and its subsidiaries, including DirecTV. In addition to DirecTV, the agreement between AT&T and Spectrum brought SportsNet LA to AT&T TV, U-verse TV and AT&T TV NOW customers in Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii.

SportsNet LA is available to DirecTV customers on channel 690. U-verse TV customers with the U-100 and above packages and U200 Latino and above packages can watch on channel 780 (standard definition) and 1780 (high definition).
