FOCO released a new bobblehead for Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Teoscar Hernández winning the 2024 Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field.

FOCO unveiled a new Los Angeles Dodgers bobblehead to commemorate Teoscar Hernández winning the 2024 Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field.

The new limited-edition bobblehead is only available for a run of 224 units and won’t be restocked once quantities sell out. It portrays Hernández in the home white Dodgers uniform and posed with the Home Run Derby trophy and champion necklace.

The backdrop includes a thematic design of Globe Life Field, home of the Texas Rangers and 2024 MLB All-Star Game logo.

Along the front of the base is a “HOME RUN DERBY CHAMPION” text display. The Hernández bobblehead stands approximately eight inches tall.

Hernández seemingly lobbied his way into the event and was part of a field that had him as holding the sixth-longest odds to win.

Hernández narrowly advanced into the semifinals, which put him in a bracket matchup with Philadelphia Phillies All-Star Alec Bohm. Although Bohm is not a prototypical power hitter, he had the most home runs in the first round.

Hernández tied with Bohm before edging him in a swing off, again advancing by just one dinger.

That trend continued in the championship round against Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. The former high school Home Run Derby champion hit second and needed just one homer during bonus outs to claim the MLB Derby title.

However, he failed to do so and Hernández completed his thrilling night by winning the Home Run Derby with just one more long ball.

Overall, Hernández hit 49 home runs and his longest was 466 feet.

Teoscar Hernández made Dodgers history

The somewhat improbable path amounted to Teoscar Hernández becoming the first Dodgers player to ever win the Home Run Derby.

They’ve had a participant in the competition 14 years and 12 different players take swings.
