While the Los Angeles Dodgers front office is working behind the scenes to address organizational and roster needs, several players have made the most of the offseason thus far. Ross Stripling and Alex Wood married their respective fiancées, and Yasiel Puig has attended multiple Lakers games.

Over the weekend it was Justin Turner who enjoyed what the city of Los Angeles has to offer. He attended the KIIS Jingle Ball concert at The Forum, where Turner met artist Ed Sheeran backstage.

The two are bonded by their hair color, and the meeting had been in the works since Sheeran performed an encore at Staples Center dressed in Turner’s Dodgers jersey.

Then on Sunday afternoon, Turner was on hand at the StubHub center to fire the cannon before kickoff between the Chargers and Cleveland Browns, via AM 570 L.A. Sports Radio:

By Sunday night, Turner made his way to downtown to catch the Lakers and Western-Conference leading Houston Rockets.

Following a Rockets blowout win, James Harden and Chris Paul competed in a half-court shooting contest, with Turner among the observers, via our own Andrew Martinez:

This offseason is much different than last year, when Turner was among the Dodgers’ key free agents. He’s also sporting a bit of a different look — with his beard and hair cut at a much shorter length.

Turner is set to host the third annual Justin Turner Golf Classic in January.
