Coming off a third straight loss, all of which have been by one run, the Los Angeles Dodgers didn’t find any success against Arizona Diamondbacks starter Archie Bradley through nearly half of Tuesday’s game.

The right-hander was shaky early, falling behind in the count 2-0 to Chase Utley. However, the veteran second baseman struck out three pitches later. Corey Seager drew a walk, but Bradley got Justin Turner to foul out, and he struck out Adrian Gonzalez.

The Diamondbacks took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first and it appeared that would hold up. Bradley set the Dodgers down in order in the second, and again in the third, bookending that inning with strikeouts.

Arizona tacked on another run to their lead in the third, and Bradley carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning. After he struck out Trayce Thompson, the 23 year old gave up a solo home run to Joc Pederson.

The home run was one of two on the night for Pederson. Turner hit a 458-shot to left-center field in the sixth and Utley pulled a two-run homer into right field in the seventh inning. Video of the Dodgers’ four home runs is provided via the club’s Twitter account:

Los Angeles finished with a 7-4 victory and while the offense coming to life was a welcomed sight, there was concern over Kenta Maeda being struck by a line drive that forced him to be removed in the sixth inning.
