After playing a condensed 2024 Spring Training schedule, the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to leave Camelback Ranch for South Korea to face the San Diego Padres in the Seoul Series.

The two-game matchup is going to open the 2024 regular season, but prior to that the Dodgers are also due to play exhibition games against the Kiwoom Heroes and the LG Twins of the KBO League, and the Korean national team.

Anticipation for the Dodgers’ visit to South Korea increased after their signings of Japanese stars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, but tickets are not expected to be made available to foreign citizens.

According to Jeeho Yoo of Yonhap News, fans asking relatives who are Coupang Wow subscribers and have access to buy Dodgers tickets are going to be met with a hurdle when attempting to enter the Gocheok Sky Dome:

Meanwhile, the prices for Dodgers tickets to the South Korea games range from $90 to $525:

At the current conversion rate, sets on Level 2 are going to cost roughly $430, while infield reserve level will range from $135-375, and outfield tickets are $90-150.

MLB is playing games in South Korea for the first time, and the Dodgers starting a regular season abroad is a first since 2014 when they met the Arizona Diamondbacks in Sydney, Australia.

The dates of the Seoul Series — March 20 and 21 — have long been set. More recently the stadium — Gocheok Sky Dome — and start times — 7:05 p.m. local time/3:05 a.m. PT — became public knowledge as well.

Dodgers part of MLB World Tour 2024

The Seoul Series is the first part of the 2024 MLB World Tour, which also includes games in Mexico City and the London Series. Additionally, the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays are playing Spring Training games at Estadio Quisqueya in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
