The Los Angeles Dodgers returned from their final off day of Spring Training to face the Chicago White Sox under the lights at Camelback Ranch, and though they suffered a loss, there were multiple highlights.

With Ross Stripling making his third start of the spring and looking to continue stretching out, he pitched into the fourth inning before giving way to Luis Vasquez. Stripling exited responsible for two runners on, who both scored.

The first reached via an error, resulting in neither run being earned. With the Dodgers trailing, Cody Bellinger changed their fortune by clubbing a two-run home run over the White Sox bullpen in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Manny Bañuelos then surrendered a go-ahead homer to Russell Martin, giving him his first since returning to the organization over the winter.

After Tim Anderson committed his second and third errors of the inning, Kiké Hernandez broke the game open with a three-run homer.

While that put the Dodgers comfortably ahead, non-roster relief pitchers faltered in the eighth inning. The White Sox rallied for eight runs to finish with a 10-6 comeback win.

That came after Kenley Jansen and Joe Kelly each combined for a scoreless frame out of the bullpen.
