With the Los Angeles Dodgers facing the Arizona Diamondbacks on Opening Day, the world-famous Philippe’s is providing fans with an opportunity to enjoy pre-game festivities before making their way into Dodger Stadium.
The fun begins at 9 a.m. PT, which is also the last call for breakfast. Indie Brewery will be on-site pouring its Del Rey IPA and an extra beer station with two options on tap will be open for those who are looking to avoid the carver lines.
Of course, Philippe’s will be serving their famous French Dip sandwiches and provide a slew of giveaways for all ages. Philippe’s encourages fans to take advantage of Dodger Stadium permitting outside food by taking French Dips to go.
While the main Opening Day festivities take place prior to the 1:10 p.m. first pitch, Philippe’s is open daily until 10 p.m. and welcomes fans to return to the restaurant after the game.
Philippe’s is located less than two miles from Dodger Stadium and directly across the street from Union Station, where fans can ride the Dodger Stadium Express bus. Service leaves Union Station every five to 10 minutes at Bus Bay 3 of the Patsaouras Transit Plaza. Transportation is free with a valid game ticket.
Philippe the Original is located at 1001 N. Alameda St. For more info and to view the menu, visit www.philippes.com.
