It remains unclear when the Los Angeles Dodgers will be back on the field as Major League Baseball continues to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, but if and when they do, Justin Turner will do so as a member of the Easton Diamond Sports family.

Easton, the industry leader in baseball/softball product innovation, recently announced the signing of Turner. He helped launch the brand’s “Don’t Hold Back” campaign which celebrates Easton’s 2020 line of pro baseball gear and features their entire roster of MLB players.

“It’s really special to partner with a company like Easton, and to have the support of a team like theirs that’s based right in my backyard in Southern California,” Turner said in a released statement.

“Everywhere you go now, you see Easton. I’m in love with their products. They’ve come a long way with their ball gloves, and I’m looking forward to swinging Easton’s bats this year.

“And beyond providing my on-field equipment, Easton is jumping on board to support the Justin Turner Foundation which deals with homeless veterans and kids battling life-altering illnesses and diseases. I’m excited that Easton wants to join me in making an impact on people’s lives in the Los Angeles area.”

Turner is also tentatively scheduled to lead Easton’s “Light Up LA” campaign leading up to the 2020 MLB All-Star Game, which at present time is still expected to be held at Dodger Stadium. The marketing campaign will focus on baseball stories and experiences in the greater L.A. area.

“We are very honored to partner with Justin,” Easton President Dan Jelinek said. “He is not only an iconic player in Los Angeles and throughout Major League Baseball, but also a class act on as well as off the field and someone we are proud to have represent our products and brand.

“We look forward to working with Justin to support his philanthropic foundation, and helping raise awareness for causes that transcend baseball.”

Turner used an Easton glove during Spring Training games this year. Easton completely redesigned their models of gloves for the 2020 season.

In addition to Turner, the Easton roster includes his Dodgers teammate Caleb Ferguson, two-time All-Star Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Indians, 2019 All-Star Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Boston Red Sox outfielder Kevin Pillar, among several others.
