The Los Angeles Dodgers will be heavily represented in the 2019 California League All-Star Game, as seven High-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes players were selected to participate in the festivities.
Among them are Quakes shortstop Jeter Downs and third baseman Devin Mann, who will start at their respective positions in the contest. Catcher Connor Wong, outfielder Donovan Casey and pitchers Logan Salow and Wills Montgomerie were also named to the South Division team.
Starting pitcher Edwin Uceta additionally earned a nod to the 2019 California League All-Star Game but will not participate as a result of recently being promoted to Double-A Tulsa.
Downs, who was acquired from the Cincinnati Reds as part of the Yasiel Puig trade over the winter, has thrived in his first season in the Dodgers organization.

Leading the Quakes with 21 relief appearances, Salow has compiled a 2-0 record, 1.80 ERA and 1.00 WHIP in 35 innings pitched this season. He has struck out 59 batters against 21 walks while allowing only two home runs thus far.
Montgomerie, who has embraced a swingman role for the Quakes, is 5-0 in 10 appearances this season (two starts). He has posted a 2.76 ERA and 1.16 WHIP with 61 strikeouts over 29 walks in 45.2 innings pitched.
The Inland Empire 66ers will host the 2019 California League All-Star Game at San Manuel Stadium on Tuesday, June 18.
