The Los Angeles Dodgers slow start to the 2023 baseball season continues, with the team struggling to a 7-6 record in the middle of the month. While Non-Stop betting sites still have the Dodgers as favorites to win the National League Pennant and co-favorites to win the World Series along with the Houston Astros, expect those odds to change if the team doesn’t start winning more games.

However, team fans can take solace in the exciting new improvements at Dodger Stadium this season. The iconic ballpark, known for its picturesque views and rich history, underwent a series of upgrades and renovations that will enhance the fan experience and solidify its status as one of the premier sports venues in the world. From state-of-the-art technology to improved seating options, here are just a few improvements that fans can look forward to when they return to Dodger Stadium.

New at Dodger Stadium in 2023

Despite being the third oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, Dodger Stadium feels anything but old once you step inside. The Dodgers have been renovating the stadium recently, with new amenities and features unveiled each season. This trend continues in 2023 with the unveiling of state-of-the-art LED lights, displays, and a familiar face entering the ring of honor on Opening Day against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The new LED lighting system is unique, with 600 fixtures that provide superior performance and reliability. It is expected to improve visibility for players and fans, creating a better viewing experience for everyone, including those watching at home. Additionally, the new lighting system reduces energy consumption by 50 percent compared to the previous HID lighting system, minimizing its environmental impact. Color-changing technology also offers opportunities for on-the-field celebrations and concerts, while the patented fixture visor minimizes glare and spill.

Installation of the new lights took two months during the offseason, replacing the previous HID lighting system installed in 2008. Dodger Stadium joins over a dozen other MLB stadiums featuring customized LED technology. The stadium also boasts new furniture and seating in the famed “Stadium Club” located in the right field pavilion, along with a new 100-inch television, LED board, and sound system for an enhanced game-viewing experience.

A new exhibit showcasing the life and achievements of the late Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully will be accessible to all fans behind the Vin Scully Press Box. The display case will feature some of Scully’s most notable awards, such as his five World Series Rings (1955, 1963, 1981, 1988, and 2020), his 1980 All-Star Game Ring, his two Emmy awards, and his 2016 Medal of Freedom Award presented to him by former President Barak Obama.

For fans who love the cuisine at Dodger Stadium, Chef Ryan Evans has added a wide range of new menu items for the 2023 season. The new concession stands throughout the stadium will offer original Philly cheesesteaks, wild mushroom cheesesteaks, Philly chicken sandwiches, fried cheesecake on a stick, hot link corn dogs coated in fire hot Cheeto dust, Mediterranean chicken bowl, Mediterranean falafel bowl, Greek fries, BBQ platter, potato taquitos, chicken pesto panini, and grilled chicken sandwich.

Dodger Stadium remains the ultimate destination for baseball fans, offering a fantastic experience for the whole family with all these new additions and improvements to the Ravine.
