Justin Turner announced the second annual Justin Turner Golf Classic is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Sherwood Country Club in Sherman Oaks, Calif, beginning at 11 a.m. The day’s festivities will conclude with a dinner.

Proceeds from the event will support children and families that have been affected by cancer or blood disorders, and the Los Angeles Dream Center and their Veterans program.

Registration for the golf classic ends Jan. 23. An individual ticket can be purchased for $2,000, with a foursome priced at $5,000. Several sponsorship packages are also available.

Additional information and registration can be completed at Justinturnergolfclassic.com. Last year Turner hosted the inaugural event at Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena, Calif.

Several of Turner’s Los Angeles Dodgers teammates were on hand, including Austin Barnes, Yasmani Grandal, Kiké Hernandez and Joc Pederson.

Spectrum SportsNet host Kelli Tennant and ABC 7 morning traffic reporter Alysha Del Valle also attended and participated.

Turner has worked closely with the Dream Center to provide for those in need in the greater Los Angeles area. Together, Turner and the Dream Center have organized a Christmas toy drive, visits to local hospitals, and arranged to host guests at Dodger Stadium.

The 32-year-old completed his third season with the Dodgers, and is now the top free agent available at his position. Turner hit .296/.364/.492 with 81 doubles, 50 home runs, 193 RBI and a 136 OPS+ in 386 games over the past three years.

The Dodgers made official their four-year contract with Turner on Friday, Dec. 23.
