The Los Angeles Dodgers announced a new addition to their 2018 promotional and giveaway schedule, unveiling a Kenley Jansen ‘Kenley Calrissian’ bobblehead that will be given out to the first 40,000 ticketed fans on Friday, June 15.

The giveaway, which is their first Stars Wars-themed bobblehead, depicts Jansen as character Lando Calrissian. The bobblehead is to commemorate the Dodgers’ annual Star Wars Night at Dodger Stadium.

Along with the scheduled bobblehead giveaway, the Dodgers are also hosting a Star Wars-themed version of Friday Night Fireworks. First pitch for the game, which will be played against non other than the San Francisco Giants, is set for 7:10 p.m.

The Dodgers previously announced the addition of a Kirk Gibson bobblehead to their giveaway schedule. It will be distributed on Friday, March 30, also when the Dodgers host the Giants.

Gibson is also throwing out the ceremonial first pitch on Opening Day, which is part of the Dodgers’ honoring their 1988 World Series team during the four-game set with the Giants.

Overlapping with that is a pregame ring ceremony for the 2017 National League Championship Series.

Other giveaways on the 2018 promotional schedule are six games with a collector’s item, an “It’s Time For Dodger Baseball” alarm clock, and Dodger Stadium sand globe.
