The Los Angeles Dodgers conclude their homestand Wednesday night with a chance to complete a three-game sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks and extend their winning streak to six games.

It’s the Dodgers’ final matchup against the Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium this season. The teams will meet for a final set at Chase Field from Sept. 24-26.

Julio Urias gets the start as he goes for his MLB-leading 18th win of the year. He is coming off a stellar outing against the San Diego Padres in which he allowed only three hits and collected seven strikeouts across seven scoreless innings.

Urias enters with a 17-3 record, 2.98 ERA, 3.27 FIP and 1.03 WHIP in 163.1 innings pitched (28 starts). He has dominated the Diamondbacks over the course of his career, which is evident by his 1.47 ERA and 0.75 WHIP in seven appearances (four starts).

In two games against Arizona this season, Urias has posted a minuscule 0.77 ERA and 0.60 WHIP over 11.2 innings with 15 strikeouts against zero walks.

The Diamondbacks counter with Merrill Kelly, who looks to bounce back from a rough outing against the San Francisco Giants. He yielded five runs on a season-high 11 hits in five innings of work with three strikeouts and one walk.

Kelly brings with him into Wednesday’s start a 7-9 record, 4.30 ERA, 3.91 FIP and 1.24 WHIP in 142.1 innings pitched (24 games). Two of those appearances came against the Dodgers in which he was tabbed for eight runs (seven earned) on 18 hits across 18.2 frames.

Wednesday is Roberto Clemente Day across Major League Baseball, which will now be celebrated Sept. 15 in perpetuity. Roberto Clemente Award nominees (past and present) along with previous winners have the option to wear No. 21 in the Hall of Famer’s honor.
