UPDATE (Jan. 27, 12:15 p.m. PT): Brandon Beachy, who was outrighted to Triple-A Oklahoma City, joined the group of non-roster invitees to big league camp.

Prospects Jose De Leon and Julio Urias are among the 16 players who were extended a non-roster invite to Spring Training, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced on Monday.

Dodgers pitchers and catchers are expected to report for big league camp at Camelback Ranch on Friday, Feb. 19; their first workout is scheduled for Feb. 20.

Position players are due in camp by Thursday, Feb. 25; the first full-squad workout will be held Feb. 26.

Urias, who is ranked the No. 1 left-handed prospect in baseball entering the 2016 season, was also a non-roster invite to Spring Training last year.

He posted a 4.50 ERA, walked three and recorded two strikeouts over two Cactus League appearances (two innings pitched). Including one start with the Dodgers during spring 2014, Urias is 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA and four strikeouts to three walks in three games (two starts).

This year marks De Leon’s first time in Major League camp. He is ranked the No. 5 right-handed prospect in the Minors. De Leon began last season with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, where he went 4-1 with a 2.15 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and averaged 13.9 strikeouts per nine innings over seven starts (37.2 innings).

He then joined Double-A Tulsa, making his debut with the affiliate on May 22. In 16 starts with the Drillers, De Leon was 2-6 with a 4.11 ERA and 1.17 WHIP.

Cody Bellinger, ranked the sixth-best prospect at first base, also joins the Dodgers for his first big league camp. Bellinger was selected by the Dodgers out of Hamilton High School (Chandler, Ariz.) in the fourth round of the 2013 draft.

He spent last season with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, hitting .264/.336/.538 with 30 home runs, 33 doubles and 103 RBIs. Bellinger led the California League in RBIs, finished second in home runs and his .873 OPS ranked eighth.
