Half of the proceeds from the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation 50/50 raffle held at Dodger Stadium during the Freeway Series opener will benefit the Tyler Skaggs Baseball Foundation. The LADF typically awards the raffle winner 50% of the proceeds and retains the remaining funds to support its programs.

Fans may purchase LADF 50/50 raffle tickets once Dodger Stadium gates open and through the end of the sixth inning. Tickets are available at three kiosk concourse locations (Field Level 5, Loge level by section 103 and Reserve level by section 10).

Additionally, uniformed raffle ticket sellers are dressed in a green 50/50 Raffle t-shirt and located throughout the stadium to complete purchases.

Every transaction is electronically tallied and updated in real time. The ongoing total pot is displayed periodically throughout various locations in the stadium, enabling fans to watch the pot as it grows.

The winning ticket number and jackpot total will be announced and posted on DodgerVision and on the LADF Twitter and Instagram accounts.

Skaggs’ Foundation additionally received a $45,000 donation from the Major League Baseball Players Trust on Monday. The foundation was founded to “inspire leadership, confidence and teamwork through youth projects and family services.”

The 27-year-old died unexpectedly on July 1. The Angels’ game against the Texas Rangers that evening was cancelled. When the team returned from their road trip, Skaggs was recognized during an on-field pregame ceremony.

His mother threw out the first pitch, and the Angels proceeded to cap off the emotional night with a combined no-hitter. Every player wore Skaggs’ No. 45. The remarkable performance drew reactions across the league, including from several Dodgers players.
