The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting their annual FanFest once again on Saturday, February 3, although a few changes have come to the event this year.
For starters, it has been renamed to DodgerFest after being called Dodgers FanFest since the event’s creation.
But perhaps even more notable, for the first time in its history, fans must pay for tickets to get into the event.
FanFest has always been free to fans, with optional purchases for autograph vouchers, meet and greets, tours, and other selected experiences.
But this year, DodgerFest costs $10 per ticket with a max of four tickets per email address. Tickets went on sale at Dodgers.com on Friday morning.
The event is also shorter in time, running an hour and a half less than in 2023 when FanFest began at 10 a.m. PT and ended at 4 p.m. This year, DodgerFest begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
Parking gates open at 10 a.m. and parking will be free to all fans attending the event.
What is DodgerFest?
DodgerFest is the official kickoff celebration for the upcoming season and features live entertainment, ballpark food and drinks, behind-the-scenes experiences, and an introduction to the club’s newest additions.
The 2024 DodgerFest event is expected to feature a 90-minute stage presentation with interviews of new additions Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow, as well as visits from Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Joe Kelly, Dave Roberts and more.
As part of the stage presentation, there will be player interviews, fan Q&A, exclusive insights into the upcoming season, and much more.
Team merchandise will also be sold at the stadium, and autograph opportunities should become available to purchase soon. The Dodgers also generally offer meet and greet opportunities and stadium tours as well.
In addition, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will have their annual Yard Sale with one-of-a-kind Dodger items, including jerseys, t-shirts, and more. LADF will also be selling Mystery Bags containing autographed baseballs, jerseys and photos.
Proceeds will benefit LADF, the team’s official charity, which has a mission to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.
