While the Los Angeles Dodgers figure to add at least one elite starting pitcher this offseason, they are also looking to bolster their overall rotation depth.
The Dodgers have been linked to the likes of Corbin Burnes, Dylan Cease, Blake Snell and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who would all slot in at the top of the rotation.
The team has additionally shown interest in several pitchers who would fill out the backend. Among them is Lucas Giolito, who could be a bounce-back candidate after struggling with three teams this past season.
According to Ari Alexander of KPRC2 Houston, the Dodgers may look to sign Seth Lugo as well:
RHP Seth Lugo has a hot market.
A league source tells me at least 2/3 of the league has shown interest in the starter.
The #Dodgers are among the teams who have shown interest on Lugo, multiple sources say.

The Dodgers were among the finalists to sign Lugo last winter before he joined the San Diego Padres on a two-year contract that included an opt-out clause after the 2023 season.
Lugo went 8-7 with a 3.57 ERA, 3.83 FIP and 1.20 WHIP in a career-high 146.1 innings pitched across 26 starts this year.
The 34-year-old spent the first seven seasons of his career with the New York Mets, where he was primarily a reliever but also proved capable of making starts.
If the Dodgers were to sign Lugo, he would presumably remain in a starting role for the 2024 season. However, his ability to pitch out of the bullpen is a plus and adds to his appeal.
Seth Lugo accused Dodgers of stealing signs
The Dodgers’ reported interest in Lugo comes less than four months after the right-hander accused the team of stealing signs following a rough start at Petco Park.
Manager Dave Roberts, Freddie Freeman, David Peralta and Jason Heyward were among those who denied any wrongdoing.
