The Los Angeles Dodgers had Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Clayton Kershaw, J.D. Martinez, Evan Phillips and Will Smith named among the nominees for the 2023 All-MLB Team.
All-MLB honors were first established in 2019 and recognize the best player or players at each position during the season.
Voting began Wednesday night and runs through Sunday, November 19, at 5 p.m. PT. Fans have the ability to vote for their 2023 All-MLB choices at mlb.com/allmlb or on the MLB App once every 24 hours.
Additionally, the ballot is available in Spanish at lasmayores.com/allmlb and also on the Spanish version of the MLB App.
Selections to the All-MLB Teams will comprise of 50% fan vote and 50% baseball media panel voting. The winners will be announced Saturday, December 16, on MLB Network.
The First and Second Teams will each have one player per position at catcher, first base, second base, third base, shortstop and designated hitters. Three outfielders will be named to the First and Second Teams, regardless of which position they play; along with five starting pitchers and two relievers.
Last year the Dodgers were represented by Betts, Freeman, Smith, Trea Turner and Julio Urías on the All-MLB Teams. Betts and Turner earned a First Team selection, while Freeman, Smith and Urías were each featured on the Second Team.
Freeman is the only player to be picked for each of the four previous All-MLB teams and that streak could reach five in 2023.
