While the Los Angeles Dodgers were taking batting practice prior to a game against the Houston Astros over the weekend, they were accompanied by the Jonas Brothers making a visit to Dodger Stadium.
Earlier this season the Jonas Brothers met Aaron Judge before a game at Yankee Stadium. Although Kevin, Joe and Nick only watched batting practice during their stop in L.A., it included a chance to speak with Dodgers manager Dave Roberts for an extended period of time.
Mookie Betts also came over for a brief discussion, and J.D. Martinez introduced himself as well. The Jonas Brothers then did an interview with Kirsten Wastson of SportsNet LA.
Following that was speaking with stadium hosts and their visit to Dodger Stadium concluded with getting an opportunity to announce Vin Scully’s famed, “It’s time for Dodger baseball!” moments before first pitch.
Fans in attendance had the opportunity to interact with a Jonas Brothers setup in the center field plaza that promoted their new album and upcoming tour that begins in August.
Jonas Brothers concert at Dodger Stadium
The Jonas Brothers’ “The Tour” that is going to feature five albums in one night per show, is among the multiple Dodger Stadium concerts being held this year.
The Jonas Brothers are performing at Dodger Stadium on Saturday, September 9. Joe Jonas told Watson the Dodgers are one of the group’s favorite teams and they are additionally fond of Chavez Ravine.
He called getting to hold a concert at Dodger Stadium a “big moment.”
