The sixth annual Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala at Dodger Stadium this Thursday has sold out, with proceeds benefitting the organization’s various community programs and initiatives aimed at improving education, health care, homelessness and social justice.

The night features an exclusive Jennifer Lopez concert as the headliner, along with a set from the award-winning DJ D-Nice. Mario Lopez and Adrián González will additionally emcee an “Everyday Champions” program that will highlight those who were instrumental to the LADF continuing to provide for the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

While this is the sixth iteration of the Blue Diamond Gala, it’s the first since 2019, when Bruno Mars performed at Dodger Stadium.

Deemed the “The Party for LA,” the gala is presented by the Los Angeles Dodgers ownership group. Current players, former Dodgers, coaches, broadcasters and additional celebrities are expected to attend.

“We are thrilled to announce the return of the sixth annual Blue Diamond Gala, the party for Los Angeles, celebrating and raising funds for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and our positive impact on the Los Angeles community,” Dodgers owner and LADF chairman of the board Mark Walter said in a statement.

“We are truly honored to have an artist of Jennifer Lopez’s caliber performing at this year’s gala.”

The sold-out event has raised more than $3.3 million, and will feature a live auction for 2020 Dodgers and Lakers championship rings. Those not in attendance can also participate in an online sweepstakes to win the “2022 All-Star Week Mega Package,” and an online auction of player memorabilia, experiences and more.

Fans can enter the sweepstakes and participate in the online auction through Thursday, June 30.

Blue Diamond Gala history

Since its inception, the LADF has invested more than $40 million into the Los Angeles community in the form of direct programs and grants to nonprofit organizations.

Lopez joins Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Earth Wind & Fire, Fleetwood Mac and John Legend as performers for the Blue Diamond Gala.
