A thriller of a Game 4 that lasted 5 hours and 15 minutes ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers earning a walk-off victory in 13 innings to tie the Milwaukee Brewers in the National League Championship Series. Now the clubs return to Dodger Stadium for a matinee affair in Game 5.
Parking lot and stadium gates open at 11:05 a.m. for the 2:09 p.m. start time. The Dodgers are tentatively scheduled to begin optional batting practice at 11:35 a.m. Considering the late-night finish Tuesday, it’s unlikely that will be heavily attended.
Pregame programming begins at 1:45 p.m. Reggie Smith will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, with actress Kelly Packard singing the national anthem.
Over his six seasons with the franchise, Smith was selected to three All-Star Games and was a member of three NL pennant-winning teams, including in 1981 when the Dodgers won the World Series.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, purchase parking in advance, carpool or utilize a rideshare service. The Dodger Stadium Express continues to operate during the postseason from Union Station and South Bay.
Service starts two hours before first pitch and is free for everyone with a game ticket. Advance parking can be purchased at Dodgers.com/parking and more information on transportation options can be found at Dodgers.com/transportation.
