Back in 2019 the Los Angeles Dodgers and Golden Road Brewing entered into a multi-year partnership that among other initiatives, brought several craft beer offerings to Dodger Stadium.
Now Justin Turner has partnered with Golden Road to rename the popular Dodgers Blonde Ale for launch before Opening Day of the 2022 regular season. Originally crafted two years ago, the Dodgers Blonde Ale is brewed with Bravo and Cascade hops, and available for fans to enjoy inside and outside Dodger Stadium.
Turner and Golden Road have asked fans (21 and over) to tap into their creativity and submit beer names at www.nameourbeer.com. The contest runs through Tuesday, Sept. 7, when five top names will be chosen.
Turner then will then share the finalists and direct fans to vote at www.nameourbeer.com to determine a new name for the Dodgers Blonde Ale beer. The person who recommends the final winning name will receive VIP tickets to a Dodgers game of their choosing, a gift card to enjoy the newly renamed beer, and a meet and greet with Turner.
Founded in 2011, Golden Road became the largest producer of craft beer in Los Angeles. After rapid growth and remarkable success, Golden Road Brewing sold to Anheuser Busch in September 2015.
