Coming off their first walk-off win of the season, the Los Angeles Dodgers now look to take the series from the Chicago Cubs and keep momentum heading into a pivotal matchup against the San Francisco Giants.

The four-game series finale is another national broadcast, airing on ESPN as part of their flagship Sunday Night Baseball programming. ESPN also is going to televise Tuesday’s game between the Giants and Dodgers, which won’t be subject to local blackout restrictions.

Clayton Kershaw has pitched exactly six innings in each of his past five starts but is only 1-4 during that stretch. His latest loss came after allowing three runs on four hits, including two homers, to the San Diego Padres.

On the season Kershaw is 8-7 with a 3.43 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in 16 starts. One of his losses came to the Cubs in what was the shortest start of Kershaw’s career as he threw 39 pitches and only logged one inning.

The Cubs counter with Adbert Alzolay, who also pitched during the May series at Wrigley Field. The right-hander had seven strikeouts over five innings and held the Dodgers to just two runs on three hits in a no-decision.

Alzolay is 4-6 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 starts this year. He too is coming off a loss and bit of a short outing at 4.2 innings. Alzolay has surrendered at least one home run in six of his past eight starts.

With Max Muncy getting a night off and Corey Seager still on the 10-day injured list, Cody Bellinger is batting second in the Dodgers lineup.
