Guillermo from Jimmy Kimmel Live visited Dodger Stadium and spoke with multiple Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs players during batting practice for Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.
Guillermo rose to prominence while working as a parking lot security guard, and along with now joining Jimmy Kimmel in the studio, is often sent to award shows, movie premieres and other major events throughout Los Angeles.
Interviews with Guillermo are light-hearted in nature and often include innuendos that are meant to elicit laughs.
Such was the case for Joc Pederson, who was asked what his favorite base is. Unable to contain his laughter after a follow-up question, Pederson needed to walk away.
Clayton Kershaw received pitching tips, and Kenley Jansen and Yasiel Puig were among the players to autograph a basketball for Guillermo — “my ball,” as he called it.
For the Cubs, Dexter Fowler, Anthony Rizzo and Addison Russell were posed with off-the-cuff questions.
Chicago went on to drub the Dodgers, 10-2, to force a tie in the NLCS. The Cubs then defeated the Dodgers in Game 5 on Thursday, and are now just one win away from reaching their first World Series since 1945.
Kimmel sending Guillermo to Dodger Stadium marks the second time the talk show has featured the Dodgers organization, as Vin Scully recently made his first public appearance since retiring.
