Adrian Gonzalez To Appear At First Viva Los Dodgers Of 2016 Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Time Warner Cable begin a seventh season of Viva Los Dodgers on Sunday, April 17 prior to the 5:05 p.m. PT game against the San Francisco Giants. Auto gates open at 2:35 p.m., with the Viva Los Dodgers program beginning at 3:05 p.m at the historic 76 station.

Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez is scheduled to appear approximately from 3:15 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. Blue prints will provide one complimentary photo with Gonzalez per family or group. Music entertainment will be provided by Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez and Los 5.

Dodger alumni Dennis Powell and Tommy Davis will sign autographs following Gonzalez’s appearance. Viva Los Dodgers includes live music, giveaways and sponsorship activations that offer family-friendly activities.

Viva Los Dodgers sponsors include Budweiser, who will have a Bud and burgers truck present, and State Farm, who are setting up a green-screen for photo opportunities, face painter for airbrushed Dodger tattoos, a DJ and host who will distribute giveaways.

Gazillion Bubbles will be on hand with its bubble car and giveaways, and Univision will provide radio and TV talent and giveaways. Viva Los Dodgers takes place two hours prior to first pitch on every Sunday of each homestand. The event is free to fans with a game-day ticket.

The season-long Dodger initiative celebrates Latino culture in Los Angeles and the legacy of Latino Dodgers past and present at a family-friendly pregame festival. Additional Dodgers and talent appearances will be announced throughout the season.
