Members of the Los Angeles Dodgers and 29 other MLB teams will be heading to Arlington, Texas this July for All-Star Week 2024, and fans can participate at the annual All-Star Village.

The Texas Rangers are hosting the All-Star game for the first time in their new stadium that opened in 2020. The last time the Rangers were chosen as the host city for the Midsummer Classic was all the way back in 1995 in Arlington.

Going by Choctaw Stadium these days, the old Rangers’ stadium has found new purpose for this year’s festivities as the host of the 2024 All-Star Village, MLB’s fan festival that takes place during All-Star Week.

It will be the first time in the history of Major League Baseball that the All-Star Village will take place in a former MLB ballpark.

The All-Star Village will feature appearances from legendary players, dozens of interactive baseball-themed attractions for people of all ages and the PLAY BALL PARK, and area for kids to play ballgames on a variety of different sized baseball diamonds throughout All-Star Week.

Choctaw Stadium will be the site for the PLAY BALL PARK, which includes batting cages, pitching tunnels, Home Run Derby attractions, clinics with coaches from USA Baseball and USA Softball, and much more.

The All-Star Village will also encompass an Esports Stadium, but don’t let the title fool you there is a lot more to it than just video games.

MLB The Show 24 gaming kiosks and a VR Home Run Derby setup will be present to scratch that video game itch, but there will also be autograph signings and photo opportunities with former players, exhibits from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and a lot of other things baseball fans are sure to love.
