The 2024 Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training schedule begins Thursday, February 22, with a matchup against the San Diego Padres at Peoria Sports Complex.
It’s the only game on MLB’s Spring Training schedule that day, with the Dodgers and Padres getting an early start due to also opening the 2024 regular season in South Korea for the Seoul Series from March 20-21. The series is part of the 2024 “MLB World Tour” and marks the league’s first regular season games in South Korea.
The Dodgers’ Camelback Ranch opener is February 23, when they face the Padres once again. Additional home dates on their Spring Training schedule include games with the Chicago White Sox (February 27), Chicago Cubs (March 2), Los Angeles Angels (March 5) and San Francisco Giants (March 12), among others.
The Dodgers have at least two home games for three of the five weekends during Spring Training, and eight weekend games overall. They conclude their Cactus League slate with back-to-back home games on March 12 and 13.
That gives the Dodgers one week to travel to South Korea and become acclimated with being overseas before opening the 2024 regular season.
Start times for 2024 Dodgers Spring Training games will be announced at a later date, along with ticket information.
2024 Dodgers Spring Training schedule details
Overall, the Dodgers play 21 Cactus League games in a span of 21 days. Included in that stretch is a split-squad doubleheader on March 2, and the Dodgers’ only off day of Spring Training is March 4.
One quirk in next year’s Dodgers Spring Training schedule is they play the exhibition Freeway Series between being in South Korea and their Dodger Stadium opener on March 28.
Games with the Angels are being played March 24-26, with the first two contests at Dodger Stadium.
