The Los Angeles Dodgers are hosting their annual FanFest once again on Saturday, February 3, although it is now under a new name called DodgerFest.
DodgerFest begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m., making it an hour and a half shorter than last year. Parking gates still open at 10 a.m. and parking will be free to all fans attending the event.
Among their changes, the Dodgers are now charging for tickets for the first time in the event’s history with a cost of $10 per ticket to get in. DodgerFest tickets went on sale at Dodgers.com earlier this month and more were recently released.
While the event has a new name, the team is still putting on numerous VIP experiences, however, autograph sessions are no longer available and instead fans are required to purchase the more expensive meet and greet package to receive autographs.
Last year, the Dodgers had 21 players available for autographs, including Chris Taylor, Max Muncy, James Outman, Brusdar Graterol, Gavin Lux and Evan Phillips.
Tickets for VIP experiences, meet and greets, tours, and other special packages for exclusive opportunities are available on their website.
Season ticket holders received first access to purchase any of the experiences, and many of them sold out quickly. Some experiences still remain, including a lunch with Andre Ethier, a clubhouse tour and locker photo, meet and greets with select players, a run the bases and dugout photo session, and multiple tours.
DodgerFest is the official kickoff celebration for the upcoming season and features live entertainment, ballpark food and drinks, behind-the-scenes experiences, and an introduction to the club’s newest additions.
The 2024 DodgerFest event is expected to feature a 90-minute stage presentation beginning at 2 p.m. with interviews of new additions Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow, as well as visits from Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Joe Kelly, Dave Roberts and more.
As part of the stage presentation, there will be player interviews, fan Q&A, exclusive insights into the upcoming season, and much more.
Team merchandise will be available fur purchase, and the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will have their annual Yard Sale with one-of-a-kind Dodger items, including jerseys, t-shirts, and more. LADF will also be selling Mystery Bags containing autographed baseballs, jerseys and photos.
Proceeds will benefit LADF, the team’s official charity, which has a mission to improve education, health care, homelessness and social justice for all Angelenos.
