After a successful series of online gatherings after 2020 World Series, another Los Angeles Dodgers Holiday Zoom party is set to take place Monday, Nov. 22, at 6 p.m. PT. Fans who wish to attend the virtual meeting can RSVP now.

The Dodgers have additionally provided an opportunity for a photo or video of a favorite 2021 moment to be shown during the Holiday Zoom party, with those submissions being accepted via Greenfly and until 5 p.m. on Sunday. A video submission must be 15 to 30 seconds long.

Justin Turner, Will Smith, Trea Turner, Joe Kelly, Gavin Lux, Edwin Rios and Alex Vesia are scheduled to appear during the 2021 Dodgers Holiday Zoom party. John Hartung and Orel Hershiser will serve as hosts.

Kelly being scheduled to take part is intriguing considering he is currently a free agent after a team option was declined. Of course, the Dodgers have openly expressed a desire to re-sign the right-hander.

The online event will feature highlights from the season, plus a chance to catch up with players and hear their favorite holiday traditions.

The Dodgers began hosting Zoom parties last year during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The 2020 holiday version included Joe Davis and Alanna Rizzo as hosts, with Cody Bellinger, Clayton Kershaw and Brusdar Graterol among those appearing.

One of the memorable exchanges from last year’s holiday chat was Kershaw detailing his participation and goal with wrapping Christmas gifts.

“We are making a concerted effort not to stay up until two in the morning on Christmas Eve,” Kershaw told Davis and Rizzo. “That is our goal. So that might mean I wrap more than my usual, and they’re not going to look great. They’re not.

“But the wrapping paper is going to cover the present, and that is the only thing that matters. That they open up something. I can tape some wrapping paper on a box, no doubt. I’m so focused.

“I’m like sweating by the end of it. You’ve got to get in there, then it’s a weird shape. What do you do with a weird shaped box? Way too much wrapping paper, way too much tape. Just the classic mistakes.”
